Terms of service

1. Who we are and what this is

Forge is a field operations service operated by Day One Web Studio, Cyprus (the Provider). These terms apply to every company account created on the service and to every person who uses it through that account.

By creating a company account you accept these terms on behalf of your company. If you join an existing company through an invite link or an invitation, your use is governed by these terms and by the rules of the company that invited you.

2. Accounts and access

The person who creates a company account is its Owner and is responsible for everyone they add. Owners and Admins control roles, invite links and sign-in links, and can remove people at any time.

You must keep your sign-in details to yourself. One-time sign-in links and password reset links are credentials: whoever opens one can act as that person. Tell us immediately if you believe an account is being misused.

3. Plans, trials and payment

The Free plan is free for as long as you stay within its limits. Paid plans (Crew and Company) are billed per company, monthly or yearly in advance, in euro, at the prices shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe. Prices exclude VAT; VAT is calculated at checkout from your billing address.

Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial that needs no card. If no payment method is added by the end of the trial, the company returns to the Free limits in read-only mode: nothing is deleted, but new work cannot be added until a plan is chosen or the company fits the Free limits again.

If a payment fails we keep your plan active while we retry and tell you in the app. If payment is not received, the company returns to the Free limits in read-only mode in the same way.

You can cancel at any time from Settings, Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and is not refunded for the remaining time, except where the law requires otherwise.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

4. Your data

Everything your company records (projects, tasks, check-ins, photos, reports, documents, financial figures) belongs to your company. We use it only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You can export your data at any time: reports are PDFs you already hold, every list exports to Excel, and a full company export is available from Settings.

Deleted records are kept for 30 days so that mistakes can be undone, then removed. The activity log is kept for as long as the company account exists because it is the record of what happened on site.

5. Acceptable use

Use the service for managing your team's work in the field. Do not use it to store material you have no right to store, to attack the service or other users, or to break any law. We may suspend an account that does.

6. Availability and support

We work to keep the service available at all times, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance is announced in the app where possible. Support is by email and is included in every plan.

7. Liability

The service helps you record and organise site work. Decisions about safety, compliance, payments and contracts remain yours. To the extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid for the service in that period.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect; continued use after that date is acceptance. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus and disputes are brought before the courts of Cyprus.

Questions about this page: reply to any email we have sent you, or write to the address on your invoice.
